Canoo Fellow Dierk König will lecture a one day course on Rich Internet Applications on June 12 2009 at the ETH Zürich. He is looking forward to convey his knowledge to you on the following topics:
- User Interface Design: Scenarios, requirements, models
- Web applications as RIA basis: Rapid development in Grails (demo)
- Different AJAX frameworks (demo & tutorial)
- Programming with Java:ULC technology (demo & tutorial)
- Tools: Testing, debugging, performance profiling
Dierk’s lecture is part of a three day compact course on “Web based Information Systems” at the ETH in Zürich (June 10 to 12). Participants may choose to attend only one day or the entire course. Other lecturers are Prof. Dr. G. Alonso (ETH Zürich) and Prof. Dr. D. Kossmann (ETH Zürich).
The course targets IT managers, developers, as well as IT personnel and consultants interested in learning about the potential of RIA and Web Services, including the impact of these technologies in IT infrastructures and the strategic decisions involved. Get more information here.
