Getting Started
If you are new to ULC, we recommend proceeding as follows:
- Read What is ULC? and the White Paper to understand the purpose and concept of ULC.
- Download and install ULC.
- Run the sample applications included in the ULC download package. See Chapter 2.3 in the ULC Installation Guide.
- Setup your Java IDE for ULC development. Please refer to Chapter 2.4 in the ULC Installation Guide.
- Get a license key.
To try out ULC, a free evaluation key
is available. Fill out the form. Within a few minutes you will receive
an email with your evaluation key.
To buy a developer key, contact us directly or buy online.
To install the license key, place the license file on the class path. - Follow the tutorial to learn how a ULC application is built from scratch.
- Check out the source code of the sample applications and try modifying it.
- Go through the FAQ in the Developer Zone and check the entries for answers to common ULC questions.
- Subscribe to the ULC developer mailing list and browse through the archives.
