Performance and Scalability
Excellent scalability and performance are key characteristics of UltraLightClient. Check our Load Test paper that describes how a low-cost Intel server will handle more than 1300 concurrent users of the Online Shop application, with response times below 1 second, and server-side memory consumption of only 400 KB per user session.
The performance and scalability of an application always depends on the complete end-to-end software stack, and is therefore never the sole responsibility of UltraLightClient (which affects the presentation layer only). UltraLightClient ensures, however, that client/server interaction and the presentation layer will never be the performance bottleneck of your application, eliminating a risk that has killed thousands of projects.
ULC's performance and scalability features include:
