Which ULC Load version is best suited for your load testing requirements?

Canoo offers two versions of ULC Load:

ULC Load

For smaller ULC applications, select ULC Load to run load tests using a single load driver. The number of requests and the time intervals can be modified to reflect load of users accessing an ULC application. This tool can be used to make predictions and approximations on performance and scalability.

For enterprise-level, large-scale application server clusters, ULC Load Enterprise is recommended, as a single load driver will be unable to create enough load to test the servers to their fullest capacity.

ULC Load Enterprise

For enterprise-level, large-scale ULC applications, select ULC Load Enterprise. ULC Load Enterprise supports load tests for an unlimited number of load drivers, installed on multiple machines, to generate load for a single ULC application. The amount of load generated is limited only by the number of load drivers, the number of computers, and network restrictions.

The ULC Load Enterprise license enables company-wide testing: all developers can generate load, and testing is not restricted to a dedicated load tester. This can give early feedback on performance bottlenecks.

In addition, ULC Load Enterprise offers simplified reporting functionality. Results are automatically gathered from all load drivers and analyzed / reported in a single tool.
