Clinic Management Solution

Calcucare, a German subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care (FME), developed Nephrologic Care, an information and management system for dialysis clinics. UltraLightClient was selected to migrate a former Swing-based fat client to a Rich Internet Application, while at the same time adding new GUI functionality. Calcucare

1. developed new components for UltraLightClient, such as a scheduler to plan for customer treatments,
2. reused and integrated solutions developed in former releases, such as the possibility to present various perspectives to the user,
3. integrated 3rd party components, e.g. from JGoodies, and
4. made extensive use of code samples provided by the ULC community.

Using UltraLightClient a sophisticated rich UI was implemented which hides unnecessary complexity from the user and is easy to learn and use.
