 Description  « Hide
The current implementation can handle BigDecimal, Float, Number, and Date (using the ISO8601 format) but fails to distinct Integer, Long and BigInteger.
It's important to handle these types too, specially when applications may need to encode domain ids (typically typed with Long).
The current behavior is that a Long will get demoted to an Integer, leading up to ClassCastException somewhere down the road.
