Currently, Dolphin uses java.util.logging directly.

When the application that uses Dolphin uses a different logging package (such as logback or log4j) then it is confusing & the 2 logging systems can be out of sync.

SLF4J is a logging facade that can be directed to whatever logging system the hosting application is already using.
